    I have had several companys contact me in the last few years regarding a problem with the Mack, Granite Model trucks. The problem is that the hood resting/cable bracket brakes off. Mack does not have a fix for this. I have created a fiberglass repair for these problems. I have fiberglass repair kits for the Mack Granite GU 713 and the Gu 813 models. The kits repair both left and right sides. It is easy to install and takes about an hour.
